Michelle has spent the last 18 years specialising in the integration of ICT into teaching and learning, first as Managing Director of Learnthings Africa and now as Managing Director of Think Ahead, and Director of iSchoolAfrica.
Michelle has been closely involved in the integration of digital curriculum into schools, teacher training, consultation on ICT policy and deployment within the education sector.
Through Michelle’s experience – she realised there was a huge need for more focused creative, project based learning. Michelle started Think Ahead in 2009 with this mission in mind.
Michelle’s key focus is working with partners in public and private sector to develop educational technology solutions that serve in the best interest of teachers and learners. She is invited to present at international conferences on trends in educational technology.
Lise has been involved in the digital sector for 15 years - with a focus on strategy and solutions for retail, enterprise and educational institutions. Lise heads up Business Development for Think Ahead.
Her key role is to ensure the Think Ahead team are meeting the needs of partner schools - in a way which is scalable, innovative and cost effective. She ensures that partner schools have access to Apple updates and events, as well as products and offerings that will contribute to each school’s vision.
Business Development Manager
Didi's key experience prior to Think Ahead includes roles at Pearson SA Director: Technology Delivery, Schools & Post Schools and Pearson SA Head of Digital Sales & Delivery, Post Schools. She has experience working in UK and Australia. She is also a qualified teacher.
Her role is to contribute to the overall ICT integration strategy of our partner schools - ensuring a sustainable educational solution.
Head: Education Solutions
Jeanette is a BA graduate, Multimedia and Visual Communication. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a certificate for Teaching with Technology.
Jeanette has 10 years of teaching experience in both Arts and Technology. Jeanette has also spent six years as Head of Curriculum and Technology Integration. She is a certified APD (Apple Professional Developer).
Jeanette is responsible for ensuring teacher training support to our partner schools - to infuse all aspects of 21st century learning into your classroom.
Professional Development Manager
Mike has his Honours Degree in Education. His career started off as a teacher at one of iSchoolAfrica’s programme schools and joined ThinkAhead and iSchoolAfrica in 2013 as a professional development facilitator.
Mike currently manages Think Ahead’s FutureSpace offering.
He co-ordinates student and teacher training for FutureSpace. He aims to bring coding literacy to schools and help set up 21st-century learning environments to encourage design and discovery.
Mike says: “Coding won’t change the world. People who understand code will.”
Coding and Robotics Manager
Sam is based in KZN. She has business and computer practice diplomas. Her initial background is in Public Relations & Communications, which has ensured her expertise in client care, needs analysis, project management and strategic planning.
Sam has also spent time in the e-publishing sector – and therefore understands the intricacies and implications of a school "going digital". Sam has vast experience in supporting schools in their ICT rollouts. Her role at Think Ahead is to ensure our KZN partner schools have someone on hand to support their ICT integration planning, deployment and evaluation.
Education Development Manager, KZN
Laetitia has a B.Sc Physical Science Degree with a Diploma in Education. Laetitia has 10 years teaching experience in Mathematics and Physical Science in public and private schools.
Laetitia is responsible for the management of one of Think Ahead’s key programmes, iSchoolAfrica.
She leads the educational implementation of this ICT integration initiative, that deploys Apple products in rural and township schools across the country.
She joined iSchoolAfrica in 2011, driving exciting change in the rural and township education landscape of South Africa.

Zaheerah’s qualifications include a BA Degree in Child and Family Psychology, PGCE ECD and Foundation Phase.
With over ten years teaching experience and a passion for innovation and the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning methods, she is part of an ICT integration initiative which incorporates the iSchoolAfrica model into the curriculum.
Over the past 4 years Nicholus has been responsible for managing the University of Johannesburg iStore – where he worked closely with faculty and students ensuring effective distribution and utilisation of iPads. He offered training and tech support.
Nicholus joined the Think Ahead team in 2017. He coordinates and oversees the execution of Think Ahead’s education projects & events. He is also a facilitator for FutureSpace, Think Ahead’s coding programme.
Education Project Co-ordinator
Yash has been involved in the digital sector for the last decade. He is the Order’s Manager at Think Ahead. His key role is the procurement, supply and logistics of Apple products for schools and Higher Education institutes.
He works hand in hand with our partner schools with their product and training requirements.
Enrique is an Apple Certified iOS Technician and has qualifications in Apple Certified Support Professional certificates, Apple Service Fundamentals and iOS in enterprise. Enrique has experience working in iStores as a technical consultant providing support for all Apple related products.
Enrique’s role at Think Ahead is to support the educational implementation from a technical point of view. His support areas include solutions such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), Apple School Manager (ASM), Volume Purchase Program (VPP), training and customer consulting.
Technical Solutions Consultant
Steve graduated from Rhodes University where he obtained a B(HMS), a Postgraduate Diploma in Enterprise Management, and a Higher Diploma in Education.
Steve has 18 years of teaching experience in both primary and senior schools in South Africa and England. He has vast experience teaching in an iPad 1:1 school.
Steve’s role is to remain at the forefront of educational and technological trends, figuring out how new technologies can be integrated into teaching in a way that redefines the learning process for both educators and students in our partner schools.
